Procurement and Installation of a Solar-Powered Water Pumping System
The Taiwan Technical Mission invites qualified companies to submit quotations based on the following requirements:
- Project Location: Awbarkhadle, Hargeisa.
- Project Description: Supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of a complete two-stage water pumping and solar power system for agricultural use. The system shall pump water:
From the existing deep well to the ground-level reservoir; and
From the reservoir to the elevated water tank and open-field irrigation tank.
- Deep-Well Pump System: One submersible pump, approximately 5.5 kW, suitable for an approximately 230–250-meter-deep well, including at least 355 meters of suitable waterproof power cable and all necessary accessories. The pump shall be compatible with the existing solar power system.
- Water Transfer Pumps: Two pumps, each at least 3 HP, for pumping water from the reservoir to the elevated water tank and open-field irrigation area.
- Solar Power System: A complete solar power system of sufficient capacity to safely and effectively operate the two water transfer pumps, including solar panels, controllers or inverters, mounting structures, cables, protection devices, and necessary accessories.
The selected contractor shall verify the site conditions and ensure that all proposed pumps, solar equipment, cables, and accessories are properly matched and capable of operating as a complete system.
Please provide:
- Quotation for the complete supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the required systems.
- Copy of valid business registration, license, or other relevant qualification documents.
3. Brief company profile and summary of relevant experience in water pumping, solar power, or similar works.
4. Brief technical proposal confirming that the proposed equipment and system are suitable for the above requirements.
5. Proposed work schedule, including estimated starting and completion dates.
6. The quoted price shall include all necessary equipment, materials, labor, transportation, installation, testing, commissioning, and other related costs.
