TENDER NOTICE
Procurement and Installation of Solar Power Systems for Office and Warehouse
The Taiwan Technical Mission invites qualified and experienced companies to submit quotations for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of complete solar power systems for office and warehouse use.
- Project Location
Awbarkhadle, Hargeisa, Somaliland.
- Project Description
The assignment consists of the supply and installation of two separate solar power system packages designed to provide reliable electricity for office and warehouse facilities.
- Solar Power System Packages
Package 1 – 3.5 kW Hybrid Solar System with 7 kWh Systems
Package 2 – 1.5 kW Hybrid Solar System with 3 kWh Systems
- Scope of Supply and Installation
Each system shall include, as applicable and as required for complete operation:

• Solar panels of suitable capacity
• Solar inverter(s) and/or charge controller(s)
• Battery storage system, where required by the proposed design
• Mounting structures
• DC and AC cables and connectors
• Distribution boards, protection devices, breakers, isolators, and earthing materials
• All necessary electrical and installation accessories
• Transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning
- Technical Requirements
The contractor shall verify the site conditions and ensure that all proposed solar equipment and components are properly sized, compatible, and capable of safely and reliably supplying the intended office and warehouse loads. The proposed system should be suitable for the local operating conditions.
- Quotation Requirements
Please provide:
1. Detailed quotation for Package 1 and Package 2, with prices clearly separated.
2. Detailed technical specifications, including proposed equipment brands/models and capacities.
3. Valid business registration, license, or other relevant qualification documents.
4. Warranty terms for equipment and installation.
5 . The quoted price shall include all necessary equipment, materials, labor, transportation, installation, testing, commissioning, and other related costs.
- Contractor Responsibility
The selected contractor shall be responsible for the complete supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the proposed solar power systems. The contractor shall ensure that all components operate as a complete and integrated system and shall rectify any installation-related defects identified during testing and commissioning.
