Objective: Procurement of 240 tailoring/sewing machines to most vulnerable orphan women
Introduction
Islamic-Relief Worldwide is an independent, non-profit, non-government, humanitarian and development organization that provides poor people with access to vital services. IRW protect communities from disaster and deliver life-saving emergency aid along with provision of lasting routes out of poverty, and empower vulnerable people to transform their lives and their communities. This Child Protection & Livelihood Skills Development is a project targeting youth and widows to attain improved productivity and incomes on selected TVET skills. The project comprises Technical Vocational Education training, self- help group formation, small business promotion and management, record keeping and financial management trainings to all targeted beneficiaries. In this respect, the Project will address the plight of widows and youths through TVET.
Key Objectives:
The aim of the tailoring sewing machine distribution is to provide start up kits for 240 Women/youth chosen marketable skills and demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge on tailoring and progressed. Islamic Relief promoting the empowerment programs in skillful trainings to earn income for women & girls. The specifications of the items are summarized as follows.

Interested contactors /suppliers with sound capacity and relevant experience in similar work are hereby invited to submit their bids in a SEALED envelope clearly marked with tender reference number as above and be deposited at the tender box at Islamic Relief office at Koodbuur district in Jigjiga Yar. North of mansoor Hotel. Hargiesa Somaliland.
The basic requirements are:
o Partial documents will not be accepted.
o Tender envelop should be sealed with reference number and stamped.
o Company profile with detailed physical verifiable contract address.
o Most recent bank statement (last 6 months).
o Quotation price in USD.
o Valid registration certificates.
o Evidence of past experience in a similar work/ contract letter etc.
o All bids should be written in English.
Tender document with detailed specification and terms & conditions will be collected at logistic office of Islamic Relief Hargiesa at free of cost from April 15-21 2020 (05:00 Pm). The deadline for submitting a bid is April 21th, 2020 at 05:00 Pm and any tender or document received letter than date and time will not be accepted. The sealed envelopes should be dropped at Islamic Relief Hargiesa offices tender Box. Islamic Relief invites all bidders to participate in the opening session of the tender at Islamic Relief Hargiesa office on 22th April, 2020 at 10:00 Pm.
