Call for Tender
Tender Notice:
The Taiwan Medical Mission in the Republic of Somaliland invites the tender for Vitek kits:
- Gram negative susceptibility testing (AST) cards (GN73)*12 sets
- Gram positive susceptibility testing (AST) cards (P592)*8 sets
- Gram negative ID*12 sets
- Gram positive ID*8 sets
Additional Requirements
- A Vitek 2 Compact Instrument has been installed in the Hargeisa Group Hospital laboratory. Products should be compatible with the current Vitek 2 Compact Instrument System.
- Product Expiration: All products must have an expiration date of 18-24 months from the date of manufacture and at least 18 months of lab activity till the expiration date.
- Training: If requested, the supplier must provide a training session for lab technicians to ensure familiarity with the testing process.
- Origin of Products: Products manufactured in China or by Chinese companies will not be considered.
- Pricing: The price of each product and the shipment cost should be listed separately in the quotation.
- Delivery: Products should be delivered to the agreed location, and Taiwan Medical Mission should be informed within 4 weeks of placing the order.

- Submission Deadline: 15 September 2025
- Bid Opening:16 September 2025 9:00 am Somaliland local time
- Submission Process: Interested bidders should submit their tender documents via email to the Taiwan Medical Mission at tmm_sln@w.tmu.edu.tw.
- Evaluation Criteria: The winning bid will be selected based on compliance with the above requirements.
