Call for Tender Tender Notice:

The Taiwan Medical Mission in the Republic of Somaliland invites the tender for military IFAK. Additional Requirements.

military IFAK A standard military IFAK contents list includes the following trauma kit essentials:

  • Bag: Used to carry the necessary items, with the option to print a Taiwan Medical Mission logo on it.
  • Tourniquet: A crucial item for controlling severe bleeding from extremities.
  • Israeli Bandage: A versatile pressure dressing for managing moderate to severe bleeding.
  • Chest Seal: A specialized adhesive dressing for managing penetrating chest injuries.
  • Trauma Shears: Heavy-duty scissors for cutting clothing and other materials.
 500 units
  • All items must comply with international standards for battlefield emergency medical use.
  • Training: If requested, the supplier must provide a training session for the technicians to ensure familiarity with the equipment.
  • Origin of Products: Products manufactured in China or by Chinese companies will not be considered.
  • Pricing: The price of the product and the shipment cost should be listed separately in the quotation.
  • Tender Participants must be Taiwanese’ company and Somali’s company forming consortium.
  • Production Leadtime: 7 days
  • Shipping lead time: 7 days
  • Delivery Term: Products are FOB Taiwan, and Taiwan Medical Mission should be informed within 1 weeks of placing the order.

  • Tender Opening:10 April 2025
  • Submission Deadline: 16 April 2025
  • Bid Opening:19 April 2025 9:00 am Somaliland local time
  • Submission Process: Interested bidders should submit their tender documents via email to the Taiwan Medical Mission at tmm_sln@w.tmu.edu.tw.
  • Evaluation Criteria: The winning bid will be selected based on compliance with the above requirements.
