The Taiwan Medical Mission’s purchase of oral cancer screening devices and supplies for their medical mission in Somaliland:
Request for Quotation: Oral Cancer Screening Devices, Imaging system, and Supplies
The Taiwan Medical Mission in the Republic of Somaliland seeks quotations from qualified vendors for specialized medical devices and supplies to screen for oral cancer and abnormalities during our upcoming medical campaign.
Device Specifications:
– Portable, handheld device designed to enhance visualization of oral mucosal abnormalities that may not be visible upon routine examination. Intended for use as an adjunct tool by dental and medical professionals.
– Utilizes natural tissue fluorescence technology.
– Rechargeable battery-powered.
– Allows recording/capturing of images for documentation.
– Requires disposable protective caps and sheaths.
Items Required:
– 1 main screening device with all included components like charging station, glasses, guide materials, etc.
– 1 integrated camera system for image capturing with necessary adapters. (suggestion: Apple iPod touch, 7th Generation, or later)
– 512 count protective caps for device tip.
– 500 pieces protective sheaths for device body, with a good vent for heat spreading.
Quotations must include:
– Company details
– Itemized list with unit prices
– Total amount
– Applicable dates
– Two years warranty from the delivery date, covering any defects in materials or workmanship.
– Product “Made in China” is not allowed for procurement by Taiwan Government
Documentation required upon purchase: invoice, receipt with vendor details, itemized list, amounts, and dates. Before Wednesday, 22 Nov 2023, at 17:00 pm, interested bidders are invited to submit proposals that include technical specifications and pricing information. The opening of bids will occur on Thursday, 23 Nov 2023, at 10:00 am. The victor must satisfy the criteria mentioned above.
